The impressionistic Arabesque #1 in E Major, by the French composer Claude Debussy, is a gorgeous piece for solo piano.

This piece is very soothing, like a gentle stream bubbling over rocks at a steady, leisurely pace. In this piece I can imagine, Aslan and Edmund walking together alone after Edmund had been rescued and was on a route towards repentance of his sins and forgiveness. The conversation was described as one that, “Edmund never forgot” (Lewis 139), and the tender nature that this piece exhibits reminds me of Aslan’s forgiving and selfless voice as he spoke to Edmund.
