The Beavers' Burrow

"Lucy thought the Beavers had a very snug little home. There were no books or pictures, and instead of beds there were bunks, like on board a ship, built into the wall. And there were hams and strings of onions hanging from the roof, and against the walls were gum boots and oilskins and hatchets and pairs of shears and spades and trowels and things for carrying mortar in and fishing-rods and sack" (Lewis 73). Just as the Beavers' home had been a safe haven for Pevensie children during their first adventure in Narnia, we welcome you to enjoy this cosy little house to all your heart's content. Safe away from the terrible storms of life, The Beavers' Burrow prides itself on sharing and being a place where everyone is welcome. Browse Mrs Beaver's Recipes, try your mind at some quizzes and this environment, opposite of the Witch's castle which was built on greed, teaches everyone about the wonders that can come from kindness and generosity.
